The Cartier Santos, first designed in 1904, and debuted as one of the first modern watches for men, designed specifically to be worn on the wrist. Today, the Santos remains one of the most beloved models produced by the Cartier.
This particular piece is the rare Santos De Cartier Skeleton, large model; Manufacture mechanical movement with manual winding, calibre 9611 MC. The stainless steel case is 40mm with seven-sided crown set with a faceted sapphire, blued-steel sword-shaped hands, sapphire crystal and case back.
This Santos De Cartier Skeleton watch ref.WHSA0015 has been custom diamond set with G/H colour VS-SI1 round brilliant cut diamonds to the full case, bracelet, clasp and bracelet edges. We have used pavé diamond setting whereby the stones are positioned closer together in a honeycomb pattern (less gaps, more diamonds, minimal edges).
